⚡️ Script for automatically creating spinning wheels [3ds max 2018 - 2025]⚡️
✅ Features:
- ➡️ creation of an automatically rotating wheel blank with the ability to change the radius at any time;
- ➡️ repeated copying of blanks in the required quantity while preserving the rig;
- ➡️ wheel control interface (in the modifier stack of the main controller);
- ➡️ enable/disable automatic rotation of the main controller tangent to the motion path during free animation;
- ➡️ movement along a spline with the ability to switch movement between 2 splines at any time;
- ➡️ fully scalable rig;
- ➡️ the script creates a separate layer where all used and auxiliary objects are stored;
- ➡️ the ability to completely remove all created objects from the scene.
✅Usage :
- ➡️ after pressing the “Create” button, a main control object is created in the form of an arrow and a blank (Star) for the geometry link to it;
- ➡️ align the blank with the wheel (only two axes are possible) and adjust the outer radius of the blank to the radius of the wheel;
- ➡️ multiply the blank with geometry as many times as necessary (do not multiply the main controller);
- ➡️ when turning, moving and scaling the main controller, the wheels will automatically realign and rotate in the direction of the main controller’s movement;
- ➡️ to enable the auto-rotate function of the main controller tangentially to the motion path, you need to create controller animation keys, then move the “FreeRide SelfRoll” slider to the right;
- ➡️ to move along a spline, you need to press the “Pick Path” button and select the spline. The spline name will appear in the table below the button. To move along another spline, you must repeat the action;
- ➡️ to be able to animatedly switch between two splines, after selecting the first spline, click the “+” button next to “Pick Path” and select the second spline. His name will appear in the second row of the table. To switch between splines, use the vertical slider to the right of the table;
- ➡️ The “Percent” slider adjusts the percentage of movement along the currently selected spline. When switching to another spline, the percentage is maintained;
- ➡️ “Constant Velocity” button enables/disables constant speed of movement along splines. If disabled, the speed depends on the Bezier Smooth.
- ➡️ the “Delete Rig” button deletes all objects created by the script;
- ➡️ installation instructions in the archive with the script.
