Script for quickly rigging of tracked vehicles [3ds max 2018 - 2025]:
- for a selected spline, the script creates a copy of the selected object and multiplies it evenly along the spline (the distance between copies is always the same);
- the number of copies of the propagated object is regulated in real time;
- a controller is created at the first vertex of the spline, by moving which you can animate the movement of all elements along the path;
- it is possible to adjust the offset and rotate the reproduced objects along each axis;
- the script creates a separate layer where all used and auxiliary objects are stored;
- you can leave only the created geometry, removing everything else that is suitable for modeling.
Usage:
- Click the Select Object button and select the object to reproduce;
- Click the Select Spline button and select a spline;
- Adjust the number of copies and percentage of movement along the path;
- Set up Rotation and Offset;
- Decline button – cancel all changes, Confirm – confirm and exit, Leave only Geometry – delete everything, leaving only geometry;
- Installation instructions are in the archive with the script.
